Seriously letting go of any relationship is such a hard thing to do even if it is a negative one. However as a child of God we are supposed to care for this temple that God has blessed us with……1 Corinthinas 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? Truly I believe that any relationships in which anyone would be critical or try to tear down your biblical witness and purity of heart are just not ones that God thinks should be be in your day-to-day life.

Sadly to say so many of us try to excuse their behavior…(they had a bad day, that is just the way they are…..) Don’t you ever excuse their hurtful behavior, hurtful words, nasty actions. Because eventually inside you will start to hurt….and the hurt will turn to pain…..then the pain will turn to chronic severe pain…which will eventually turn into hard feelings toward that person.. (This too I know from experience)

You can love them, you can pray for them, and you can witness to them but you should never allow them leverage in you life. You should never allow them more time than you allow The Lord and your church family. Our Father in heaven wants us to surround ourselves with people who bring the very best out in us. People who lift us up, encourage us, and sharpen us. God truly wants nothing less for His children. Would You??????
