One of my favorite scriptures is Jeremiah 29:13-14
13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
14 And I will be found of you, saith the Lord: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the Lord; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.
My amazing God is really saying….” If you want me come find me, I you long to spend time with me come visit, only when you seek me will you find me!!!”
I remember when my little girl was small and we lived in a small apartment in Charleston we would play hide and seek. She would hide her little face on her Jolly Holly toy box in her little pull up…. and count to three……. one…two…three…..then she would say “Mama coming to find you.I seek you” She would walk around the apartment for a few minutes then start whimpering….”I can’t find you I cant find you I scared…where are where are you, I need you mama I need you????” When I would hear the cries of my little girl I would jump out and say right here baby right here and kiss her and love her…… She didn’t come looking for mommy half heartedly but came looking for me whole heartedly cause she knew she need mama….
Well my friend it is exactly like that with God………You will come to place in your life….where you realize you a searching for something…your in fear, your scared, and your realize…… and begin to cry out daddy I need you, I want you, where are you, I am seeking for you I am scared……….and he will…………. I promise, when he hears his little one cry out……… He promises that he too will be FOUND!!!!!
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, how amazing you are, how true you are, how wonderful you are. I thank you that when you heard my cries you jump right out and picked me up and cradled me in your arms. I thank you for loving me enough not let me wonder away to far before you allowed yourself to be found because you had mercy on your scared little scared little girl. I love you and praise you………
I pray that anyone who is seeking help….seeking freedom from fear…..from bondage…….that they realize today that al they have to do is cry out…….”Daddy I am scared…..Daddy I need you…….I need you to be The Lord of my Life Jesus,……..”
