The other day I got a Facebook message from a dear friend out of the blue……It read, “Darlena have a good day, luvs ya.” I have to admit my heart just gleamed with joy know that I was on her mind at 12:57pm, in the middle of the day she paused everything to let me know she cared and she was concerned about my day, and that she wanted to encourage me and let me know she loved me.
So many today think that you have to buy expensive gifts to show people they care. Honestly though all people need is to hear, to feel that they are loved. Just a few simple words can make all the difference. Because sadly we live in a world that is sin sick, that is full of heartache. Nothing in this day and time is predictable. It has good people in it and it has bad people in it. Unexpected chaos seems to be in the news every morning. Hearts are broke by the loss of a child in a school shooting, families are devastated by the loss of loved ones on terrorist plane crashes. Children are broken because of abuse they suffer at the hands of ones that should protect them at all cost. Plainly put we are in a broken world filled with broken people!!!!!
However we can change that. We as ambassadors of Christ need to be just that. Christ love the sinful, the sick, the homeless, the adulteress, the murderers, the drug attacks, the demon possessed, the rich, the poor. Jesus Christ loved…..and he loved unconditionally regardless of race or social status.
So today remember to reach out to people, to love them. Give them kind word of encouragement. Remind them of the truth about God:
God is Good, and all the time God is Good.
He will never leave or forsake them.
God is love.
God’s love is even stronger than the love of a mother.
God is the same yesterday to and forever.
God heart does not want one person to perish, but to spend eternity with Him.
God wants us all to live a life full of abundance.
God will finish the work he started in their lives if they only allow him.
And don’t forget to tell them you love them.
LET THEM SEE GOD IN YOU!!!!!!!!!
Don’t be one of those people who fly off the handle and kill the spirit of someone because you may disagree with them. Don’t be a source of discouragement but rather encouragement. Don’t be the source of the hurt but rather the source that helps them find healing in Christ. Don’t be the source of crudeness but rather kindness.
Be an AMBASSADOR OF CHRIST!!!!!!!!
