Today a very dear friend of mine ask me to read a blog, or post today that was dealing with controversy on being homosexual, and other things. She said it has really bothered her to the core that so many opinions could arise from the word of God. That so many different interpretations come from a Gods word. That they could actually get her wondering…….” Could they be right? Well I read this very carefully and If I was to be completely honest….. My heart Was deeply troubled ….. Deeply trouble because I see a world that is sin sick……so sin sick. They commit sin blatantly and just take it lightly, they flaunt it constantly………they even sadly encourage others to do it. Their behavior completely mocks and dishonors The Lord of Lords’, The King of Kings’ sacrifice on the cross.

Mark Twain said …..In religion and politics people’s beliefs and convictions are in almost every case gotten at second-hand, and without examination, from authorities who have not themselves examined the questions at issue but have taken them at second-hand from other non-examiners, whose opinions about them were not worth a brass farthing.

Another man once said…….My land, the power of training! Of influence! Of education! It can bring a body up to believe anything.

And that is exactly what our sin sick world is doing……….

I see people who profess to love God confusing the lost and even the ” weak ” in Christ. Pushing their beliefs upon others. Instead of just showing the love of God by declaring their testimony to all…. Gods word says he is not the author of confusion, however in Hosea 4:6 it says….- My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Ignorance causes confusion and division. I know because sadly I see it in me …. That Gods children do not study His word as they should. That they try to a gray area in all things anymore because we are a feel good generation instead of a Holy Ghost God fearing generation.

Eph 4:14-15 Then we shall not be children any longer, or tossed one way and another and carried along by every wind of doctrine, at the mercy of all the tricks men play and their cleverness in practicing deceit. If we live by the truth and in love, we shall grow in all ways into Christ, who is the head.

2 Tim 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

According to the word of God ( Matt 13:20-22 ) serving God and following Christ requires self sacrifice and growth. But in today’s world so many people, Gods people try to justify their unrighteousness instead of lining up to his word with excuse.They enjoy their flesh being satisfied. And some people rebel against authority….try to be to big for their britches to get attention and fame….ALL OF THESE ATTITUDES CONTRIBUTE TO DIVISION, DISAGREEMENTS, AND CONFUSION AMONG GODS PEOPLE.

“Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace; the sinful mind is hostile to God. It does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God. You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness. And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you.” (Romans 8:5-11 NIV)

Since I gave my heart to God having a relationship with Him and having the mind of Christ has been so very important to me. Words could never express just how important it is. It is so important that I WOULD DO ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING TO GET GODS APPROVAL!!!!!
I have also learned that when we need to seek answers to questions about sin and the morals of this life, and the standards God expects us to live we need to seek His favor and His face…..and his strength …..and then listen to what he has to say. But like spoiled children we try to compromise to get what we want….what will make us feel good; not seeing the whole picture and the repercussions and consequences that will lead to satisfying our flesh instead of God. I truly know that when the word of god, or his direction seems vague to us it is because we are not listening to His voice.

Believe you me……Sin is sin. Big or small. Short or tall. It is all sin and it is all an abomination to God. If he said it was sin in the Old Testament it is sin today. No debate needed…..no controversy …… No maybe…..no gray……. If it is against the perfect will of Gods, His word, Gods plan, or Gods purpose it is sin…. PERIOD !!!!!

Besides the fact that I am polish…….lol my understanding, my intelligence is truly limited for now. While I live here, while I take this journey in this strange land I will have my questions, I will have my doubts……but that’s when I need to seek the face of God….dive into Gods word …… Not hold a public pole….or a debate….. God said what he said and I for one will never second guess His word. ABSOLUTELY NEVER!!!!!

I know our flesh is weak and that is why we try to sugar coat our desires, our actions, our lifestyles, our sins……. But that is also why we also need to
realize we are flawed children simply because we were born into a sinful world…… That is why we have to listen to ” daddy ” who cares for us and loves us beyond measure…..who wants us to become strong healthy adults which are preparing to be warriors, princes, and princesses in the Kingdom of God. We are going to struggle with sin, with sinful desires, with temptation but that is because until the day we receive our glorious heavenly bodies and minds in eternity ……. Satan’s wants, he actually spends every moment trying to kill steal and destroy us. That is why we need to immerse ourselves in the blood of Christ, and whole heartedly seek a one on one relationship with Him. Seeking his will, his values, his purpose, his help, his directions, devoting yourself completely to spiritual growth, and yielding to Gods will ….etc…. Because when your mind is filled with His voice, and His word is wrote on your heart, and His love has filled your heart there will be no room for anything else……..not even silly debates…..lol

You know I truly don’t have to have all the answers to every question or an action plan for every single trial or tribulation that comes my way. But what I do know Is that I have to just yield to God’s will. Listen to the Holy Spirit, Who will tell me in no uncertain terms, no beating around the bush, no cushioning the truth, what I must do. And trust me there will be no confusion about it, no question, no conflict or anxiety about it. I will just do it and I know I will have done everything completely right……..and everything that God has expected of me….
