“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” – Matthew 6:33
This morning on my way to work I was having one of God moments……Gosh I love them!!!!! Listening to the news about the Federal government shut down, divorce rates rocketing, murder, theft, and so so many other heart breaking stories. My heart just ached. Simply ached!!!
I started praying for our nation..pleading the blood over our government, our families, our churches, our parents, our children, our schools, our soldiers, crying out to God to help us. Then I realized……you know one of them pauses “hey what are we doing to help…what are we as children of God doing to help our nation…to help our families, our government, our churches????? WHAT ARE WE DOING????
I’LL TELL YOU WHAT WE ARE DOING…..MAKING A MESS OUT OF EVERYTHING BECAUSE WE ARE A SELFISH, STUBBORN SIN SICK PEOPLE. WE ARE FOLLOWING OUR OWN WANTS, DESIRES, AND NOT SUBMITTING AND SEEKING THE GIVER OF ALL GOOD THINGS…….JESUS!!!!!
You know the Greek word for “seek” as used in this verse is zeteo (pr. dzay-the-o) which means “to worship God.” Oh my…….now if that doesn’t make you wanna do a dance!!!!! Worship God”…..That is exactly what America is not doing!!!!!! Instead of worshiping the one who gave us life…..we worship things like tv stars, money, possessions, kids, spouses, jobs, political parties, and etc…….. Our moral values are so messed up!!!! Kids don’t respect parents, parent’s don’t teach their children the way of the Lord, schools have shoved God out, churches worry about money instead of preaching the whole unadulterated Word of God. What are we doing??????
God” word says:
Proverbs 29:18 A nation without God’s guidance is a nation without order. Happy are those who keep God’s law!
When there is moral rot within a nation, its government topples easily; but with honest, sensible leaders there is stability.” Proverbs 28:2
“Good leaders abhor wrongdoing of all kinds; sound leadership has a moral foundation.” Proverbs 16:12
The only way to fix this land….the only way to heal our children our families, our marriages, our churches, OUR GOVERNMENT, our schools is to “SEEK” TO “WORSHIP GOD”
“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” 2 Chron. 7:14
The God I serve “says what He means…and means what He says!
And we cannot do this halfheartedly…….Jeremiah 29:13 – “Seek God With All Your Heart And You Will Find Him”
I remember hearing this story:
There was an incredibly large group of people assembled. On one side of the
group stood a man, Jesus. On the other side of the group stood another man,
Satan. Separating them, running through the group was a fence.
The scene set, both Jesus and Satan began calling to the people in the group
and, one by one, each having made up his or her mind, each went to either
Jesus or Satan.
This kept going, and eventually Jesus had gathered around him a group of
people from the larger crowds, as did Satan. But one man joined neither
group. He climbed the fence that was there and just sat down on it. Then
Jesus and his people left and disappeared. So too did Satan and
his people.
And the man on the fence sat alone.
As this man sat there, Satan came back, and appeared to be looking for
something that he’d lost. The man said, “Have you lost something?” Satan
looked straight at him and replied, “No, there you are. Come with me.”
“But,” said the man, “I sat on the fence. I chose neither you nor Him.
“That’s okay,” said Satan. “I own the fence.”
American wake up……American get off hte fence…..we are either a One true God Nation…or we are not…..we either want to follow the statues of God or we do not. Christians wake up….Sinners wake up……if we only serve God halfheartedly, we are still destined to fail!!!!! Halfhearted service does not get it…….. worshiping only when times are rough….just doesn’t get it. Singing praises when all is well…just don’t get it. We need to seek the Lord with our whole hearts and cry out for deliverance…repent….and turn from all our wicked demented moral views…..and place our trust and care…solely in Jesus Christ!!!!!
God does not want to be part of our lives America ……He wants to be our LIFE!!!!!!!!

Dear God I thank you for your grace, your infinite grace. I for one know I have failed putting you above all things, before all things. Please forgive me. Help me Lord to place everything behind the cross…all my worries, my children, my family, my husband, my health care, my finances, my job, my church…..my friends….my nation, my president, my government and focus solely on you. I want more of you, more of your anointing, more of you power, more of your presence, more so much more of you!!!!
